Victory Stone was founded in 2012 with a vision to revolutionize the stone industry by combining craftsmanship with customer service. Beginning as a small operation with a focus on high-quality stone products, the founder Zackary Court established the company with a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, leading Victory Stone to rapidly expand their operations and facilities, branching out to different provinces around Atlantic Canada.
Victory Stone was established in a modest 200 square foot office and storage shed located in the back parking lot of a furniture store. This humble beginning marked the start of the company’s journey, as they began operations with limited space but a vision to make a significant impact in the stone industry.
As the company grew, the need for a dedicated office, showroom, and workshop became evident, prompting their move to Mt. Edward Rd in Charlottetown. In their new location, they established a well-designed showroom and office area, alongside 300 square feet of workshop space, setting the stage for the initiation of their stone fabrication operations. This expansion allowed them to enhance their capabilities and better serve their clients, marking a significant step in their development.
Slabs of natural stone began arriving directly from Brazil via shipping containers, providing Prince Edward Island its first opportunity to view and select natural stone slabs locally. This direct importation marked a significant milestone for the area, allowing clients to explore a diverse range of high-quality stone options without the need for lengthy shipping times or additional costs. Additionally, investments were made in advanced laser templating equipment, enabling the precise digitization of on-site measurements. This technology ensured accurate and efficient customization of stone installations, enhancing the overall quality and fit of each project.
The arrival of the first CNC machine from Italy marked a significant advancement in Victory Stone’s capabilities, bringing cutting-edge technology to their fabrication process. This sophisticated equipment allowed for precise and efficient cutting and shaping of stone, elevating the quality and accuracy of their products. Recognizing the growing demand for their stone solutions, Victory Stone made further strategic investments in additional stone handling, installation, and fabrication equipment. These enhancements were aimed at boosting production capacity and streamlining operations, ensuring they could meet the increasing needs of their clients while maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship and service that had become their hallmark.
To accommodate the expanding needs of their operations, Victory Stone secured an additional 2,000 square feet of shop space, providing a significant increase in their facility’s capacity. This expansion allowed for the integration of more advanced equipment and a more efficient workflow. Alongside this, a new line polisher from Italy was introduced, enhancing their production capabilities. This state-of-the-art polisher, renowned for its precision and efficiency, enabled Victory Stone to achieve a higher level of finish and consistency in their stone products, further solidifying their commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
To address the rising water demands associated with their expanded operations, Victory Stone implemented a new water recycling system. This advanced system efficiently recycles water used during the fabrication process, significantly reducing overall water consumption and minimizing environmental impact. By integrating this sustainable technology, Victory Stone not only meets operational needs but also demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. This approach aligns with their dedication to sustainability, ensuring that their production processes are both resource-efficient and eco-friendly, benefiting both the company and the community.
Victory Stone expanded its facility by adding an additional 2,500 square feet of shop space, further enhancing their production capacity and operational efficiency. This significant increase in workspace allowed for the installation of a new CNC machine imported from Italy, renowned for its precision and advanced capabilities in cutting and shaping stone. Alongside the CNC machine, state-of-the-art overhead crane systems were also introduced. These cranes facilitate the safe and efficient movement of heavy stone slabs throughout the shop, streamlining the fabrication process and improving overall workflow.
Victory Stone has secured a new parcel of land in Halifax, marking a strategic expansion of their operations into this key regional market. This acquisition represents a significant milestone in their growth strategy, enabling the establishment of a new facility designed to better serve the Halifax area. The expanded footprint will allow Victory Stone to enhance their operational capabilities, including increasing production capacity and improving service delivery. This move is expected to strengthen their market presence, offer greater accessibility to local clients, and facilitate more efficient distribution of their high-quality stone products throughout the region.
A groundbreaking ceremony has marked the commencement of a new 15,000-square-foot fabrication facility in the Mt. Uniacke Business Park, a significant step towards meeting the increasing demand for stone products in Nova Scotia. This state-of-the-art facility will be equipped with the latest technology and machinery to enhance production capabilities, streamline operations, and ensure the highest quality of stone fabrication. This strategic investment underscores Victory Stone’s commitment to supporting regional growth and maintaining excellence in service and product quality.
Victory Stone’s Charlottetown operations have significantly expanded with the addition of a new 14,000-square-foot steel building, strategically located near the Charlottetown airport. This modern facility will house a state-of-the-art showroom, office spaces, and an advanced new fabrication area. The expanded space will provide a more comprehensive environment for showcasing products, meeting with clients, and conducting daily operations. This expansion represents a substantial investment in both infrastructure and capability, positioning Victory Stone to better serve its clients and support its continued growth in the region.
